What is a Gift Card?

Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.

A "sell CVV site" is a criminal storefront that trades stolen payment-card data, and there is no legitimate shortlist to rank. Every marketplace advertising CVV dumps, fullz, or carding tutorials operates in violation of federal law. In the United States, buying, selling, or holding stolen card credentials falls under 18 U.S.C. § 1029, which carries statutory maximums of 10 to 20 years depending on the count and any prior conviction, plus fines, restitution, and forfeiture. The practical risks begin before that: these sites are seeded with dead cards, watched by investigators, and run by operators who harvest buyer data as a second revenue stream. If you searched for a place to buy CVV data, the honest answer is that no safe or legal option exists.

What a CVV marketplace actually trades

Carding shops do not sell a product in any normal sense. They sell access to accounts that belong to someone else, usually packaged with enough extra identifiers to pass a fraud check.

The inventory is replenished by breaches, skimmers, phishing kits, and insider theft at merchants and processors. Every record in the catalog represents a real person whose account is about to be drained.

Why buyers get burned

The buyer-side experience is consistently bad, and the reasons are structural rather than accidental.

The legal exposure, plainly

Federal prosecutors do not need to prove a completed fraud to bring charges. Possessing 15 or more unauthorized access devices with intent to defraud is itself an offense under § 1029(a)(3). Related counts commonly include wire fraud, aggravated identity theft under 18 U.S.C. § 1028A, and money laundering when proceeds move through crypto or mule accounts. Aggravated identity theft adds a mandatory two-year consecutive term on top of the underlying sentence. Restitution orders follow the victim banks, which means the total can reach six or seven figures for a small operation.

If your own card data surfaced on one of these sites

  1. Freeze or cancel the affected card and request a new number rather than a reissue of the same one.
  2. Dispute every unauthorized charge in writing and keep the confirmation. Federal rules cap your liability for unauthorized use, but only if you report promptly.
  3. Place a free credit freeze with all three nationwide bureaus to block new accounts opened in your name.
  4. File a report at IdentityTheft.gov to generate a recovery plan and an official record.
  5. File a complaint with the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center so the pattern is visible to investigators.
  6. Change passwords on any account that stored the card, and enable two-factor authentication.

Legitimate tools that cover the same need

People land on carding content for two reasons: they need to accept payments, or they need to protect their own accounts. Both have lawful paths.

For merchants

For consumers

The bottom line

There is no reputable CVV vendor, no buyer protection, and no version of carding that ends well for the person doing it. The sites promising otherwise are selling a felony with a support forum. If your goal is to take payments, talk to a licensed processor. If your goal is to protect your own money, a credit freeze and transaction alerts do more than any product in a criminal marketplace ever will.
