Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
Sites that sell CVVs deal in stolen payment card data. A CVV is a card verification value tied to a real account holder, and buying or selling one is card fraud under US law, including 18 U.S.C. § 1029. A buyer's guide, ranking, or review of those sites would function as fraud enablement, so I won't produce one.
Listings marketed as "legit CVV sites" are almost always one of three things: a fraud marketplace, a scam that takes crypto and delivers nothing, or a law enforcement honeypot. None of those categories is a legitimate vendor relationship, and none carries consumer protection, refund rights, or dispute recourse.
Work with your acquirer on 3-D Secure, address verification, and velocity rules. Track dispute reason codes to separate true fraud from friendly fraud. Report confirmed fraud to your processor and to IC3 so it enters the enforcement pipeline.
