What is ONYX GiftCards?

Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.

What is a Gift Card?

Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.

How it Works?

  • Buy an Onyx Gift Card at these local stores
  • Give your gift card to friends, family, co-workers, etc.
  • The recipient can shop at our select merchants nationwide
  • Your friends, family, co-workers, etc. will present their gift card at checkout to pay for your item(s)
  • They will walk away happy with the best gift ever...the gift of Choice

Why ONYX GiftCards?

  • Save TIME. No need to run around looking for the perfect gift
  • Redeem from a variety of business island-wide. We will continue adding businesses as fast as ONYX grows.
  • ONYX Gift Cards do not expire
  • Cards are valued at convinient amounts to meet every need and occasion

The Luhn Algorithm Test tells you in a single click whether a card or account number is mathematically well-formed. It runs the same mod-10 checksum that payment networks apply as a first-line sanity check, then shows you the result and the arithmetic behind it. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and nothing is stored.

Key Features

Algorithm & Specifications

The tool implements the standard Luhn formula as described in ISO/IEC 7812: starting from the rightmost digit, every second digit is doubled, any result above nine has nine subtracted, and all digits are summed. A number is valid when that sum is divisible by ten. The check digit itself is excluded from the doubling pass and is what the final total balances against. Processing is immediate even on large pasted lists, and the interface works on any modern browser with no installation or account required.

Delivery & Returns

Access is delivered digitally the moment your order completes, so there is no shipping and nothing to wait for. If the test does not run correctly or you cannot reach the tool, contact support and we will restore access or issue a full refund. Your satisfaction is covered for thirty days from the purchase date.

What is the Luhn algorithm used for?

It is a checksum used to catch typos and transposed digits in card numbers, IMEI numbers, and other identification codes. It confirms that a number is internally consistent before any further processing happens.

Does passing the Luhn test mean a number is real?

No. It only proves the digits are mathematically consistent, not that an account exists or is active. Many randomly generated numbers pass the check, which is exactly why it is treated as a formatting filter rather than a verification step.

Can I test a whole list at once?

Yes. Paste one number per line and the batch view returns a pass or fail for each entry alongside the calculated sum, which makes it easy to scan sample datasets or QA test values.
