Redeem your gift cards at any of our Merchants
Onyx Gift Cards is a Grenadian company designed to introduce, market and manage gift cards systems in Grenada for retailers and corporations. We are enthusiastic about the effect and influence we will have on the local market. We intend to expand our systems regionally with a range of product offerings and services.
Gift cards are the preferred way of giving and receiving gifts. They carry a monetary value that can be redeemed for gifts at your favorite store.
Onyx GiftCards are “Open Gift Cards” which means that they can be redeemed at multiple merchant locations. They are standard credit card size, can fit into the average wallet and made of PVC plastic. Onyx GiftCards are Barcoded for security and safety for the consumer and bear a disclaimer at the back.
Onyx Giftcards can be bought with a branded Card backer which is black in colour and is designed to fit the card. There is an area to write a brief message to the recipient as well.
A card test link generator is a fraud tool that produces payment URLs and runs stolen card numbers through them to find out which ones still authorize. The test is a small charge, often under a dollar, and the link is just a hosted checkout page pointed at a merchant. There is no legitimate version of this tool. For a merchant, it is the sound of your store being used as a validation service. For a shopper, it is nothing you need.
Testing used to happen at a terminal or through a script hitting an API. Payment links changed the math. A hosted link asks for a card number, an expiry, and a ZIP, and nothing else. No account, no device fingerprint, no prior relationship with the seller. A fraud ring can hand one link to a few hundred people and count the hits that come back approved. That is why searches cluster around generators rather than around individual card numbers.
I look for patterns, not single orders. A card testing wave has a shape you can recognize once you have seen two of them.
Most test charges decline or get reversed, so the money lost up front is small. The damage arrives later. Networks track this behavior, and Visa runs fraud monitoring programs that fine merchants whose fraud ratios cross a threshold. Mastercard has comparable programs. Fees start modest and climb with each review cycle. A processor can add you to a watch list or drop you outright. Chargebacks from the cards that did go through show up weeks after the tests stop.
Buying, selling, or using stolen card data is a crime in the United States under wire fraud and access device statutes. The FTC has said plainly that reselling card data is illegal. The people peddling CVV dumps and test generators are frequently running the con on the buyer, taking payment and delivering nothing. When a case does get built, the exposure lands on whoever ran the test, not on the tool.
